An alternative to the more common AC-coupled system, this vLight DC-coupled battery is designed to receive energy directly from your solar panels. When needed, the stored energy would then need to be fed through an inverter for use as AC in your home or business. This can make it cheaper and more efficient than an AC-coupled system which needs to pass the stored energy through an inverter three times.
This StarCharge vLight battery is composed of multiple modules to make it easier for one person to install. It's compatible with most string inverters and is easy to retrofit into an existing system with no need for rewiring.
